I love thrillers! Hearing a lot  about Dan Brown, I wanted to try my hands out on his books since a long time now.  But as every reader knows, everytime I finished a book, the choice of picking up the next read out of hundreds of them from the longggg TBR pile became a difficult task!  Finally, after finishing my exams and a long time since taking a break from the reading journey, finally picked up a Dan Brown novel and it was The Digital Fortress! ಪುಸ್ತಕ: ಕರ್ವಾಲೊ  ಲೇಖಕರು: ಕೆ.ಪಿ. ಪೂರ್ಣಚಂದ್ರ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿ  ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ audio book ನತ್ತ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮೋಹ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ.. English Novels ಓದುವಾಗ ಅದೇ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ Audiobook ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾ, ಪುಸ್ತಕ‌ ಓದಿಕೊಂಡು‌ ಹೋಗುವ ಮಜವೇ ಬೇರೆ. (ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಾದರೆ ಬರೀ audio book ಕೇಳುವಾಗ ಕೆಲವು ಶಬ್ದಗಳು, ಉಚ್ಚಾರಣೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ). ಹೀಗೇ ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಕನ್ನಡ AudioBook ಸಿಗಬಹುದಾ ಎಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಡವರ ಬಂಧು YouTube ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಡಕಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ "ಬನ್ನಿ ಓದೋಣ" ಎಂಬ Channel ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂಚಂತೇ ಯವರ ಈ ಕಾದಂಬರಿಯ ಕಂಡೆ! ತೇಜಸ್ವಿಯವರ ಕಾದಂಬರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಓದುವ ಬಯಕೆ ಮೊದಲಿಂದಲೇ ಇತ್ತು.. Lockdown ಸಂದರ್ಭ ಪೋಸ್ಟಾಫೀಸು PDF ಅರ್ಧ ಓದಿದ್ದೆ, ಕಾರಣಾಂತರಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಂದೆ ಓದಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ ಆಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ AudioBook ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದು ತುಂಬಾ ಖುಷಿಯಾಯಿತು! ತಡಮಾಡದೇ ಕೇಳಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದೆ... ಈ ಕಾದಂಬರಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಕೇಳಿದೊಡನೆ, ಕಾಡುವ ಮೊಟ್ಟಮೊದಲ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ, "ಹೌದು, ಈ ಕರ್ವಾಲೋ ಅಂದರೆ ಏನು?" ಎಂದು. ಕರ್ವಾಲೋ, ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಮುಖ್ಯಪಾತ್ರ. ಇವರು ಮೇಧಾವಿ ಪರಸರ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಶೋಧಕ! ಪೂಚಂತೇಯವರೂ ತಾವೇ ಒಂದು ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಕಥೆಯ ನಿರೂಪಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಪೂಚಂತೇಯವರ ನಾಯಿ 'ಕಿವಿ'ಯದ್ದೂ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರವೇ! ಎಡವಟ್ಟಿಗೇ ಹೆಸರಾದ ಮಂದಣ್ಣ ಅಂತ ಕರ್ವಾಲೋರ ಪಟ್ಟ

Off late, I was more onto fiction, and this is mostly the first english non-fiction (self help) I read recently. It changed my thinking towards reading non-fiction and I will definitely read more of non-fiction from now on.   The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari is written by Robin Sharma, a motivational speaker and bestselling author from Canada. The writing style is in a way of conversation between two people. Julian Mantle, a famous lawyer, comes to India after a heart attack, to find his true self. He learns the importance of spirituaity, wisdom and transforms himself into a much healthier and happy man after learning the ancient techniques followed by the great Sages of Sivana. He later returns to his country, to spread the awareness among the people of the west.  This book is filled with positive thoughts, importance of spirituality, it gives the techniques to know yourself better. What I liked about the book is, some phrases which are difficult to understand or remember are explained

🌸12th April, 1934 - 12th December, 2002🌸        ಇಂದು, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಶಿರೋಮಣಿ ನೀರ್ಪಾಜೆ ಭೀಮ ಭಟ್ ಅವರ 87 ನೇ ಜಯಂತ್ಯುತ್ಸವ✨   ಅಜ್ಜ ತೀರಿಹೋದಾಗ ನನಗೆ ಎರಡೇ ವರ್ಷ!! ಆದರೂ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಒಂದು ಮೂಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂಥರಾ ಅಚ್ಚಳಿಯದ ಅಜ್ಜನ ನೆನಪು.. ನಾ ಪುಟ್ಟವಳಿದ್ದಾಗ "ನೀ ಬರೆಯಕ್ಕು ಪುಳ್ಳಿ...ತುಂಬಾ ಬರೆಯಕ್ಕು" ಎಂದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಳಿ ಕರೆದು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆಂದು ಎನ್ನಮ್ಮ ಈಗಲೂ ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.  ಇಂದು ನಾನು ಬರವಣಿಗೆಯತ್ತ  ಪುಟ್ಟ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಿಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಅಜ್ಜನಿಂದಲೇ ಬಳುವಳಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಂದ 'ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪ್ರೇಮ' ಎಂದರೆ ತಪ್ಪಾಗಲಾರದೇನೋ!!  ನೀವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮನದ ಮೂಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಾ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿರುವಿರಿ..  ಸದಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ....  ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪುಳ್ಳಿ...🙏🏻🙏🏻 - ಶ್ರೀಪದ 🌸
