How can a person deal with a life full of problems and pains? | Book Review | A thousand splendid suns | Khaled Hosseini

Mariam and Laila. Two young ladies going through life full of hardships!
Finished reading Hosseini's another bestseller - A Thousand Splendid Suns.

I wanted to read this novel since long and the wait was worth it! After reading it, I am out of words.

The bonding between the two ladies is beautifully connected by the author. They both have their own world of problems and start striving to deal with it at very young age.

Their first few meetings go harsh . The action and reaction of both towards each other being reasonable since both of them are dealing with problems and pains which cannot be compared - as to whose difficulties are greater than one another. But eventually, when they both understand each other and the connection which develops into a great bonding later to the extent of the ultimate sacrifice seems the best part of the novel to me.

This is a masterpiece which makes us understand thatBe thankful for whatever you have in life, no matter how many difficulties you go through. Many people don't afford the life we are living today

I would rate this book a 5/5.
And I fully recommend you to read it too.
Finally, Thanks for all the book reviews for thos particular recommendation.

[ I didn't have a hardcopy and so, I had to go for e-book. The book is mostly available in all the popular book stores and e-commerce sites. E-books and audio books are also available]

The Street Lawyer by John Grisham : #BookReview

The lockdown has given me a great time to read books in my long TBR list!  Today, here I review one of the books that won my heart! I randomly picked this novel from the library and enjoyed the novel to the fullest. It is a very rare kind of novels I have read till now.. This, is a story of a millionaire lawyer who becomes a street lawyer, when he reaches the state of having only thousand bucks; his life  takes a huge U-turn just in a month's time! The novel also talks about the homeless, the reasons for them to become homeless, their problems, etc.. Neatly written till the end! The English is easily understandable. Rating: 4.5/5 If you too are a bookoholic, don't miss to read this one. Also, comment your opinions below. Happy reading! -Anki

These buddies are the ones who are always with each other, for each other. This is the story of two such friends Sakhi and Maithri from a local high school in a village called Sakhpur.  Sakhi was studying in high-school when she met Maithri. They both were new students in the class. With new faces all around the class and difficulty in studying languages, Maithri approached Sakhi, the girl in the same boat, for help. They both helped each other, talked about overcoming their situation and eventually became friends. Close friends.  They started sharing everything; be it food, family matters, school, gossip, every damn  thing with each other. Even their families knew each other now. At times, Sakhi even felt like going to Maithri's home and spending time with her, doing combined studies, playing and all.  They...
